Halloween Fright Ride and Costume Party in Little Rock

If you’re looking for an out-of-the-ordinary way to celebrate All Hallows Eve tomorrow, check out Bobby’s Fright Hike: Bike Ride and Costume Party.
The ride is free and is for all ages and fitness levels. All you have to do is don your scariest costume and bring your own bicycle and light. You’ll go past some of  Little Rock’s most haunted locations such as the Quapaw Quarter and the Old State House. Meet at the River Market Pavilions in downtown Little Rock at 5:30 p.m. to begin your spooky excursion. Organizers encourage riders to bring candy to hand-out to neighborhood children or perhaps a bouquet of flowers for those at rest in historic Mount Holly Cemetery .

A costume party (for those age 21 and up) in the west wing of the River Market Hall follows the ride and is $12 per person; $15 at the door. The admission price includes dancing and free beer and fine for two hours. There is also going to be a best costume contest. All proceeds benefit the Bicycling Advocacy of Central Arkansas.

If you’d like to take part but don’t have a bicycle, Bobby’s Bike Hike offers discounted rentals for all participants. Included in the package are the bike, helmet, lock and lights. Reservations can be made on the Bobby’s Bike Hike website.
