If you love entertaining for the holidays, here are two cooking classes to expand your abilities.

The holidays are almost here, and with the holidays come entertaining opportunities. The theme for the Saturday Chef’s Series on Nov. 6 and Nov. 20 at Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain near Morrilton is “All Appetizers.” After taking this class with Chef John Leonardis of Gourmand Guru Group, you will be able to adorn your party table with new recipes that will delight and impress your guests. November 26 in Mountain View is Ozark Folk Center State Park’s Fourth Friday Food Day with the theme of Healthy Holiday Cookies. Register by Nov. 23, to learn how to make delicious healthy cookies and treats for the holidays. Check the website for a complete menu. The workshop fee of $30 includes lunch. Class size is limited.
