Zoie Clift

A new festival, The Hot
Water Hills Music & Arts Festival, is premiering in Hot Springs. The
two day event ( Oct 7-8) features over 20 performances on two stages
including sets by Big Smith, Ben Nichols (Lucero), Mountain Sprout, The
Extraordinaires, The Grand Marquis, Adam Faucett and Andrew Anderson.
The festival also includes an art fair with over two dozen
artists on display, and an artisan market with arts and crafts. The new event is set to be located at Hill
Wheatley Plaza at the corner of Spring and Central. Admission is $5 and the
festival is the creation of the same folks ( Low Key Arts) that produce the
annual Valley of the Vapors Music Festival each Spring.

Along with the new addition, annual music festivals
in town include the Hot Springs Music Festival each June ( which showcases
classical music), and the Hot Springs Jazz Fest and Hot Springs Blues Festival
each September. Enjoy the music!
