Jewels and Jelly Beans

Jewels to Jelly Beans:
Treasures from the Presidential Vaults
can be seen at the Clinton Presidential
Center until Jan. 30. The exhibit was unleashed
this year in honor of the 5th anniversary of the Clinton Library and
includes a chance to see rarely seen artifacts from the collections of more
than 14 U.S. presidents. It is the only venue in the region where folks can see
a variety of artifacts from a number of presidential collections. The exhibit
includes over 200 items including one of President Ronald Reagan’s favorite
jelly bean jars and his leather cowboy boots decorated with the presidential
seal, a framed piece of steel from the World Trade Center given to President
George W. Bush, an original Dr. Suess drawing, and one of the largest balls of
yarn I’ve ever seen (Yep, someone gave that as a gift).  For more details on the center and the exhibit check out
