Happy Friday! Still looking for something to do this weekend? Why not head to historic downtown Helena for the 11th annual Wild Hog Motorcycle Rally and Musicfest for great music, yummy food (I hear fried cheesecake is one option!), motorcycle field events, and a poker run!

Bike registration kicks off this morning at 10 at the Wild Hog Saloon. There’s a bike parade on tap at 6 p.m. Musical entertainment tonight includes Deep South at 4 p.m., followed by the broadBand at 6:30, Shenandoah at 8:30 and the Tyler Boydstun Band at 10:30. There’s also live music at the Wild Hog Saloon from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Saturday’s activities include the poker run, with the first bike out at 10 a.m. The music begins at noon with a performance by the Jamestown Flood Band. Field events begin at 2 p.m., including the weenie bite, the slow race balloon toss and burn out. The contestants for the Ms. Wild Hog contest take the stage at 2:30. A bike show starts at 3 p.m. and is open to all registered bikers. Marrakesh Express takes the stage at 3:30, followed by Arkansas native son Jason D. Williams at 5:30, headliners Poco at 7:30 and the Breeze at 10:30.

The Arkansas Christian Motorcyclists Association hosts an Easter Sunrise Service and Blessing of the Bikes at 7:30 on Sunday morning. At 1 p.m., ABATE 21 is offering an Easter egg hunt along historic Cherry Street.

If you’re looking to take the bike out this weekend and listen to some great live music, Helena-West Helena is where you want to be! To find out more, check out the Wild Hog website at
