Little Rock Marathon to Celebrate 10 Years in 2012

The 2012 Little Rock Marathon, which marks its
10th year celebration next year, is set for March 4. Race officials have
announced  the marathon  has already sold out its entries for the
full 26.2-mile race ( in record time!) and event officials say the half marathon,
5K and 10K are expected to sell out soon too. If you might want to get a hold of some of the remaining spots, now
is the time to sign on.
The full marathon includes 2,400 entries, a cap established in 2008 to ensure a safe race. The half marathon is capped at 4,200 runners and the 10K and 5K at 1,200 runners each.  Last year, the marathon was listed as one of the ‘Best Value Marathons to Run” by Runner’s World. It is also a Boston Marathon qualifying event. The marathon is a running tour through Arkansas's capital city and is known for giving the world's largest finisher's medal.
