Local runner wins Little Rock Marathon

Thorvilson (of Little Rock) won the Little Rock Marathon yesterday for the
second time in a row with a time of 2:48:28. Moninda Marube, of Keller, Texas
took first in the  men’s field with
a time of  2:29:41. Runners from all 50 states and eight countries
took part in yesterday’s event. According to race numbers, 1,845 people started
the marathon and 3,698 the half marathon. The marathon is a running tour
through Arkansas’ capital city and is known for giving the world’s largest
