If you’re interested in making your own holiday decorations or gifts, the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View has two workshops that are right up your alley. Ozark Folkways near Winslow can help you create unique Christmas cards.

A Holiday Card Making and Stamp Camp will take place Oct. 9 at Ozark Folkways Heritage Center, located on Scenic Ark. 71, between Winslow and Mount Gaylor. Two sessions are offered. The first is from 8 a.m. to noon, and the second from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Specify which session you want to attend when signing up.

The class is for all experience levels, and teaches a broad use of inks, stamps, and techniques from basic to advanced. You will learn many techniques for paper piecing and masking to color emerging.
Space is limited and the cost is $25 per person. To reserve your spot call Rebecca at 479-634-3791.
