New Arkansas Master Naturalists Chapter

Applications are now being
accepted for the formation of the new Diamond Lakes Arkansas Master Naturalists
Chapter that will serve Lake DeGray, Lake Catherine, Lake Ouachita and Daisy
State Parks. Initial training will be hosted by DeGray Lake Resort State
Park. If you have ever wanted to expand your knowledge of the natural world,
this is the opportunity to do so.
Participants can attend Saturday classes on
topics such as Botany, Entomology, Mammals, Meteorology, Birding, and
Archeology taught by experts in the field. Arkansas Master Naturalists have
logged thousands of volunteer hours, working with organizations such as
Arkansas State Parks, Audubon Arkansas, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, U.S.
Corps of Engineers and others. For a registration form and more information
