Sculpture at the River Market, Oct. 15-17

Kerry Kraus

If you’ve wandered through the River Market District for any length of time, then you’ve noticed the striking pieces of outdoor art. Located along President Clinton Avenue in downtown Little Rock, these artistic monuments comprise the Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden  which is the setting for Sculpture at the River Market, Oct. 15-17.

Over 800 sculptures are in the River Market pavilions and in the adjacent area of Riverfront Park. A preview party on Friday allows patrons the opportunity to see the artwork, visit with the sculptors, and purchase sculptures. Admission to Sculpture at the River Market is free.
Hours for the show are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17. On Saturday, Sculpture at the River Market takes place in conjunction with the Farmer’s Market.
