Check here every Tuesday for
a fitness fix rundown. I’ll be on the lookout for running, cycling, tri’s,

I’ll highlight each week: Big Dam Bridge 100

Zoie Clift
Arkansas’s largest cycling
tour, The Big Dam Bridge 100, is coming up Sept. 25. The cycling tour ( which
goes through Little Rock and North Little Rock)  offers five distances to choose from: 16, 30, 50, 68. and
100 miles.
Some changes to the routes will be in effect this year. A new
68-mile route has been created which will also serve as the bail out for the
100. Quick heads up, the field max size is 2500 participants and once this
number is met registration will be closed down.
Each year, thousands of
cyclists from around the country descend on Central Arkansas for what has
become the largest cycling tour in the state. The Big Dam Bridge is famous
for its name and reputation for being the longest bicycle bridge in the
world. More details about the race and information on each course can be found
at: www.thebigdambridge100.com/.
