World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Like parades? Like short parades? The World’s Shortest St.
Patrick’s Day Parade (the parade starts at 6:30) is set for March 17. St. Patrick’s Day is
celebrated around the world as a homage to St. Patrick, a popular patron saint
of Ireland. The seventh annual event will be held on Bridge Street, which
measures 98 feet and is one of the shortest streets in the world. According to
Guinness World Records, Ebenezer Place (measuring in at 6 feet, 9 inches) in
Scotland is the shortest.
According to event
directors, the day will include green fireworks, Irish belly dancers, floats,
the Irish Order of Elvi (a group of Elvis look-alikes), marchers, Irish
Wolfhounds, and a Pub-Crawl. Bo Derek of “10” fame will serve as Grand Marshal
