The Great Blue Heron

Meet at the Big Spring for an interesting look at one of our park’s most popular residents. You will learn about some special adaptations that make the Great Blue Heron the “first fisherman” of the White River. We’ll provide binoculars so you can get an up-close view of these majestic birds nesting above the beautiful White River.
