Arkansas State Parks
Located on the lake formed by Remmel Dam, Arkansas’s first major hydro-electric facility, the park features structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Covering more than 2,100 acres in the Trap Mountain region of the state; campsites, cabins, picnicking, fishing, rental boats, a marina, trails, interpretive programs and horseback riding.
Lake Catherine State Park

In the Ouachita Mountains on 1,940-acre Lake Catherine, this park features all water sports, hiking and a waterfall on Falls Creek. Hot Springs National Park is nearby.
Cabins, gift shop, store, marina, swimming beach, hiking trails, guided horseback trail rides, boat rentals, Rent-A-Camp and Rent-A-Yurt; picnic sites, playground, pavilion, restrooms, hot showers, dump station and laundry. Nature center open in summer.
