Queen Wilhelmina State Park Lodge is now open after undergoing a $9.7-million renovation. The lodge now offers 40 guest rooms, including Queen, King, King with spa tub and gas fireplace and King Suite choices. Barrier-free rooms meet the needs of visitors with disabilities and the Queen's Restaurant and a gift shop are also available. The park is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest, and hiking trails and campgrounds are located on the grounds. The Ouachita National Recreation Trail can be accessed from the park. A small playground for children, a miniature train and Mountain Glory Station, a volleyball court and miniature golf are also located at the park. Come experience this Arkansas state park and its mountain inn gracing 2,681-foot Rich Mountain, Arkansas's second highest peak.
