The Museum Gallery at Historic Cane Hill
What to know
The Museum Gallery at Historic Cane Hill is open for tours Thursday – Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
The Gallery will serve as the visitor center for the Habitat Smithsonian Exhibition from April through November, 2022.
The Museum Gallery at Historic Cane Hill is housed in a two-story building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building, constructed in 1900 using locally quarried sandstone, originally served as the A. R. Carroll Drugstore. Renovations to the first floor of the building were completed in 2018. The result is a state-of-the-art gallery space. Track lighting, neutral wall colors, hardwood floors, and high ceilings create an inviting space suitable for a variety of artwork.
Gallery exhibitions have been ongoing since 2018, showcasing a wide variety of art and artists, continuing the longstanding legacy of arts in Cane Hill. Exhibitions have featured local artists, regional and national competitions, and historic subjects.
Appointments for private tours are welcome and group tours are encouraged.
