Dermott City Mural

Located on the side of the community's Senior Citizens Center; depicts the town's history. Included is Dr. Charles McDermott, a doctor, minister, plantation owner and inventor who held, many believe, the first patent granted for an airplane. Cotton and the railroad, both which played an important part on the economy for the town for decades, are also depicted.
