As you explore the streets of Downtown El Dorado, keep your eyes open—you just might spot a larger-than-life guitar painted with color, creativity, and community pride. Guitars Around Downtown is a public art project that celebrates El Dorado’s musical heritage and creative spirit through a series of artist-designed guitar sculptures placed throughout the Arts & Entertainment District.

Each guitar is uniquely designed by a local or regional artist, reflecting different styles, stories, and slices of South Arkansas culture. The installation brings art out of the gallery and into the everyday—encouraging locals and visitors alike to explore, snap photos, and discover the heart of El Dorado through its art.

Created in partnership with Main Street El Dorado and the El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce, this project adds rhythm and color to the downtown experience.
