What to know
Hot Springs Village artists Caryl Joy Young, Barbara Seibel and Shirley Anderson will present selected pieces of their artwork in this exhibit.
Young will be one of the artists participating in the Art in the Parks in Hot Springs in April, in the 11th Annual Delta Arts Festival in Newport, Arkansas, June 7-8; and at Art on the Border in Ft. Smith, AR, July 19-20. Then in September, she will be one of two featured artists at the Artists’ Workshop Gallery in Hot Springs.
While continuing to teach and exhibit art locally and nationally, Seibel embarked on a different kind of art adventure a few years ago, teaching art aboard luxury cruise ships. She loves teaching art while seeing the world! She records her travels in art journals, creating small sketches and recording her thoughts as a reminder of her travels.
Anderson is an exhibiting member of the Art Group Gallery in Little Rock. She is currently serving as Exhibition Chair of the International Association of Pastel Societies and is on the Executive Committee. Her work has been juried into exhibits in seven states across the United States. She is a Signature Member of the Arkansas Pastel Society.
Art Exhibits in the Magnolia Room are free and open to the public during regular operating hours.
