Arts & Crafts
The Natural State is home to southern folk art and homemade crafts, many of which have been passed on for generations. These still play a central role in the region, as showcased by the world-renowned craft fairs offered each year. Professional craftspeople make rocking chairs, stained glass, candles, wreaths, stoneware, paintings and musical instruments – every item is a little bit different as they are crafted by hand.
Pop into Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View April through November where 20 artisan shops demonstrate homestead and pioneer skills that were essential back in the day.
