What to know
Featuring its namesake beer at every mile, the Nutty Runner 5K caters to those that want the chance to exercise outdoors, enjoy craft beer, and give back to a local nonprofit all at the same time. Starting and finishing at local Columbus House Brewery, this (hilly!) 5K course will weave through Fayetteville, Arkansas’s historic downtown and Wilson Park neighborhood.
Keepsake pint glasses are included with your Nutty Runner registration as well as three beers along the course and one at the Finish Line! Don’t want to drink and run? The Designated Driver division is perfect for you. Additional beer, shirts, and merch available for purchase at the post-race festivities! The race starts at 11:00 am sharp. There is a two-hour time limit to allow for all paces (run fast to compete or take a leisurely stroll with friends!)The Nutty Runner 5K is produced by and benefits The Spark Foundation, a non-profit organization that strives to create a positive impact in the community by providing increased access to health and fitness education and opportunities. The Spark Foundation supports pioneering projects around health and fitness through its keystone fund with Fayetteville Public Education Foundation as well as mini-grants for area schools and clubs.
Columbus House Brewery is a 3-barrel brewhouse owned and operated by two University of Arkansas graduates who love Fayetteville and the craft beer industry. Since opening their doors in April 2015, they've been dedicated to providing Fayetteville with quality brews and a friendly environment. The brewery shares The Spark Foundation's passion for being active outdoors and hosts weekly running and cycling clubs as well as monthly happy hours that give back to local nonprofits.
