What to know
The ride begins and ends in Witts Springs Arkansas (SW Searcy County). The road riders head west on highway 16, with turn-around points to reach 20, 40, 50, or 62 miles. The gravel grinders head down Lick Fork Road, with turn-around points to reach 15, 30, 45, or 62 miles. There is also a 10-mile fun ride opportunity for those who don't want to commit to a longer ride. All riders get a post-ride meal and a tee-shirt. We’re also offering opportunities for camping the night before with an option to attend a dinner sponsored by the Witts Springs Masonic Lodge—donations to their organization are appreciated. All riders will have access to restrooms, showers, free coffee and pastries the morning of the ride. The Pedestal Rock 40 supports work being done by Community Voices, a 501(c)3 organization, to showcase the beauty of the Authentic Ozarks and strengthen the lives of rural Arkansawyers living in the Boston Mountains of southwest Searcy County.
