Winter Bird Hike

Crowley's Ridge State Park

What to know

Join park staff for a wintering bird hike around Lake Ponder Trail. Learn how to identify calls, coloration, and unique characteristics of some of our finest wintering species, such as pine warblers, Carolina chickadees, and red-headed woodpeckers. This trail is .5-miles long and is paved and ADA/stroller accessible. If you have binoculars, please feel free to bring them.
