Fairfield Bay

Nestled in the Ozark Mountains and situated on the north shores of the pristine Greers Ferry Lake, Fairfield Bay offers natural beauty and an active, outdoor lifestyle. The community showcases stunning mountain scenery and a variety of outdoor activities including fishing and boating on scenic Greers Ferry Lake, two 18-hole championship golf courses, 90+ miles of UTV trails, 20+ miles of hiking/biking trails, the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain Island and exploring the boulders and history of the caves at the historic Indian Rock House Cave.

The Sugar Loaf Mountain Island Trail was Arkansas' first designated National Scenic Trail and one of the first in the nation. Built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on an island in the middle of Greers Ferry Lake, the one-mile trek to the top rewards visitors with panoramic views of the Ozarks. Indian Rock House Cave and Trail is on the National Register of Historic Places, 1982, and is officially registered as the Edgemont Shelter. This landmark was a rendezvous spot for ancient west Mississippi Native Americans. Greers Ferry Dam, which created the 40,000-acre lake, dramatically changed this area of north-central Arkansas. The dam was dedicated in late 1963 by John F. Kennedy

The resort community of Fairfield Bay is home to the popular full-service Fairfield Bay Marina with over 400 slips, as well as eight championship tennis courts, three resort-style pools, miniature and disc golf, a fitness center, library, 10 family Adventure Stops and a wide variety of restaurants offering both casual and formal dining options.

The Center and Hotel offers complete packages including 5-star accommodations, award winning on-site catering, and 4800 square feet of flexible meeting space. Features include meeting rooms, a theater for live performances and ceremonies, a convention area with banquet facilities, an outdoor party deck, and a great room that can be divided to provide the ideal size space. Surrounded by the tranquility of the Ozarks, the facility encourages and stimulates creativity and collaboration between conference attendees as well as makes room for relaxing conversation among friends and special guests. The Center is also the designated art gallery of the North Central Arkansas Art League. Along with the permanent collection, two-dimensional, sculpture and stained-glass work are on display for viewing and purchase.

The mild climate provides year-round comfort with the warmest month being July and the coolest January.

Fairfield Bay is known for its Signature Events held throughout the year. Popular events include Bloomin' in the Bay (May), Surf the Bay (June), 4th of July, Oktoberfest (October), and Festival of Trees at the Bay (December). During the summer, the Fairfield Bay Marina hosts many live music events, and Dive-In movies can be seen at the Cool Pool. The ATV/UTV trails can be used year-round, and riders return often because they just can't get enough. There's an activity for everyone here, and the memories made last a lifetime.

Located 75 miles north of Little Rock, Fairfield Bay is located along Ark. 16, east of Clinton.
