Save the Frogs Day is a special day dedicated to calling attention to the declining numbers of frogs and toads across the world and what citizens can do to stop this. Join us at the visitor center as we explore how these fascinating animals can survive on land and water. Discover why protected natural areas at Delta Heritage Trail State Park are so important for these amphibians to thrive. You will even get a chance to take action and help by making your own toad house to take home and set out. Children and adults are encouraged to attend. Preregistration is required by calling the park. A modest fee can be paid on arrival.
