The 17th Annual Chili Cook-Off will begin at 4:30 p.m. on November 25 rain or shine at the Exchange Street parking deck in downtown Hot Springs. The cost is $5 for all-you-can-eat chili. Hot Springs’ Annual Christmas Parade is always a great time for families on December 9. Contact Scott Burton at 501-525-0769. Arlington Lawn located in Hot Springs National Park celebrates the holidays with a stunning display of Christmas lights and holiday spirit starting on November 25. The most celebrated outdoor light display in Arkansas for the holiday season opens at Garvan Woodland Gardens the Saturday before Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days). Note: Dogs are not allowed in the Gardens during Holiday Lights except during the Jingle Dogs Pup Parade on Monday, December 2.
