Whitewater Recreation Park

Siloam Springs

Positioned along the scenic Illinois River, this family-friendly, alcohol-free park features an engineered river for skilled kayakers as well as beginners with length of rapids approximately 700 feet and Class II and III difficulty. The park has specially designed riverbank access so families can enjoy the beautiful waters of the Illinois River. Additionally, there is a climbing boulder, a picnic area, accessible walking trails, rain garden and designated changing area.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

Bentonville

Houses a permanent collection of American art masterworks from the colonial era to modern day, and touring collections from national art institutions. Acclaimed collection includes such masterpieces as Charles Wilson Peale’s and Gilbert Stuart’s portraits of George Washington; Asher Brown Durand’s Kindred Spirits; and Norman Rockwell’s Rosie the Riveter. Other major works by artists such as John Singer Sargent, Thomas Eakins, William Merritt Chase, Thomas Hart Benton, and Andy Warhol, are also featured. Temporary exhibitions program complements the permanent collection. Named by SmaterTravel.com as one of the World's Hottest Museums for 2014. The 200,000 sq.-ft. building was designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie. Solar powered shuttles transport visitors.

Wild Wilderness Drive-Through Safari

This 400-acre safari is home to a variety of exotic animals that live in the natural environment of an Arkansas landscape with several large ponds. Safari consists of a four-mile drive-through, petting parks, and walk-through areas for interaction with the animals. Pony and camel rides operate on seasonal basis. Picnic table available. Daisy Manufacturing Company, Inc. is the world's oldest and largest manufacturer of airguns, ammo and accessories. One gun, more than any other, played a major role in making Daisy the household name it is today.
