Kayak Test Drive

When you think of kayaking, do you picture whitewater, helmets, and lots of turning over? It’s true that whitewater kayaking is popular, but there are also many other ways to enjoy the sport of kayaking. Some people enjoy flat water kayaking for exercise, relaxation and fishing. Come join park staff to learn some basic kayaking skills, take a test drive in one of our kayaks, and see for yourself that this sport can be easy, fun and relaxing. Bring clothing and shoes that can get wet. Please register at the visitor center by 12 p.m. Saturday March 2nd. Discounts are available for groups and multiple workshop participation.
