Delta Woodlands Trail Hike

At Lake Chicot State Park, explore a remnant of nature that was once a much bigger part of the greater Arkansas Delta region by hiking the Delta Woodlands Trail. This short 1-mile loop ventures through habitat for many species of plants and animals that live at Lake Chicot State Park. The trail has slightly uneven ground, so appropriate hiking shoes are recommended. While this is an easy hike, water and insect repellent are recommended as well.
