A Look at the Moon

Surrounded by the fields of the Mississippi Delta and the open water of Lake Chicot, Lake Chicot State Park offers great night views with less light pollution than even the smallest of towns. Come experience what the moon has to offer. We will begin with a discussion of the different phases of the moon and then take a closer look at the pock marks and ridges of its surface through a telescope. Water and insect repellent recommended. This program is weather permitting.
