Great Backyard Bird Count

Each year, people from around the world come together to watch, learn about, count, and celebrate birds. Connect to nature and be part of this global event simply by observing and logging any birds you see for at least 15 minutes. Park interpreters will offer programs throughout the weekend in case you need an introduction into bird identification or just want to ask all your avian questions.
