Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2021: Hiking Responsibly on Bear Creek Lake Nature Trail

Girl Scouts are invited to "observe, study, and explore" at Mississippi River State Park! On the morning of Saturday, Sept. 11, we are dedicating programs for Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts. At 9 a.m. join a park interpreter for a short, easy guided hike and exploration of how to be a safe and responsible hiker. Consider also registering for the Eco Art program later that morning. Though no fee is required, space is limited; please register for programs at GirlScoutsDiamonds.org/events by September 3, 2021. Special note: Girl Scouts wanting to camp Saturday night are welcome to stay at our Maple Flats primitive group campground for $3 per person.
