Tree Diversity Hike

The diversity of trees found today in our forest is similar to what was here 200 years ago when Joseph Brown and his team of surveyors passed through the forest surveying the baseline for the survey of the Louisiana Purchase. Join a park interpreter to ponder over some of these trees and wonder which ones may have been around back in the day. We will have tree dichotomous keys, and other field guides available to help you identify any trees you are not familiar with.
