Judy's Quilty Pleasures Quilt Shop
What to know
The historic F. M. Reeves/Dermott/Cox building is a beautiful historic building built in 1899 and sits at the start of the Talimena Scenic Highway. In 1899 Mr. Reeves, being a newly appointed postmaster in Mena, bought the property and had the two-story building built to house one of the earliest and first official Post Office in Mena. Over the years it has been home to many businesses, some being a clothing shop, shoe store, book store, wholesale grocery warehouse, Farmers and Merchants Bank, sandwich shop, and jewelry store. Holding so much history through the years, the building is now home to The Mercantile General Store & Indoor Flea Market, and Judy's Quilty Pleasures Fabric, Notions, and Gifts. Quilting classes are the newest addition to the store.
Judy's Quilty Pleasures is located in The Mercantile building at 622 Mena Street. The store has quilting fabric, notions, and gifts with new merchandise being added each week. It is a growing business that has big plans.
