Beanfest

Sponsored by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, this annual event features vendors, food, and activities downtown on the square. Bean cooks from around the region compete in a cook off Saturday, followed by the most unique spectator sport in the Ozarks: the Great Arkansas Outhouse Races.  For more information, contact the Mountain View Area Chamber of Commerce or visit their website yourplaceinthemountains.com.

Shuttles will run from the Ozark Folk Center to downtown throughout Saturday, allowing visitors to enjoy both the event downtown and the crafts, live mountain music, and artisan demonstrations at the Ozark Folk Center State Park.
