What to know

Week two of Folk Kids' Summer Daycamp at the Ozark Folk Center is designed for children ages 8 through 12 years-old who enjoy making things by-hand, learning with kids their age, and being in the great outdoors.

Daycamp includes five days of indoor and outdoor activities with Ozark Folk Center staff including hiking, making music, crafts and pizza, swimming each day, and a field trip to South Sylamore Creek and Blanchard Springs Rec. Area.

Required forms
Parent(s) and guardian(s) must accompany their child on the first day of daycamp (Monday, July 24th) and turn in a signed photo release form and permission slip that grants permission to participate in the following activities:

- Physical outdoor activities, such as hiking and swimming, and hands-on activities where children may use sharp tools such as scissors

Arrival/Departure
Our daycamp classroom is located at Ozark Highlands Theater, next to the Gift Shop, at the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Each day, campers arrive at the theater between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and pick-up is between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. (except on Friday, July 28th.)

End of the week
On Friday, July 28th, a graduation ceremony will be held for family and friends at the White Oak Theater beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feel free to arrive before the ceremony starting at 5 p.m. to see some of the crafts the kids make during camp and enjoy snacks and refreshments. The White Oak Theater is located inside the Visitor Center across from the Skillet Restaurant.
