Natural State Trailblazers
Natural State Trailblazers is for photographers, storytellers, influencers and videographers who love Arkansas. From the peaks of the Ozarks to the quiet beauty of the Delta, Trailblazers will help share authentic stories that show why our state is unlike any other. This initiative offers paid opportunities through web and social content. Creators will collaborate on campaigns, gain exposure through Arkansas Tourism and Arkansas State Parks, enjoy exclusive experiences and connect with fellow influencers. Participants will also receive a welcome kit and be part of a network dedicated to showcasing the best of The Natural State.
Eligibility Requirements

Arkansas resident, 18 years old or older

Public Instagram account with 1,000+ followers

Strong photo and/or video storytelling skills

Participation in quarterly “missions” with content that tells Arkansas travel stories and aligns with brand campaigns

Is this a paid program?
Yes. Compensation varies by assignment, with perks and exclusive experiences included.
Can I apply if I’ve previously been an influencer, content creator or Ambassador with Arkansas Tourism or Arkansas State Parks?
Yes, you can! But remember, you are still required to apply to the new program for consideration.
How many creators will be selected?
Up to 25 creators will be chosen for the first round.
What is the duration of the program?
The program runs through December 31, 2026, with annual reapplication.
When should I apply?
Applications are open now. Apply by Nov. 30, 2025, for initial consideration.
Is this the same as the Arkansas Ambassadors program?
No. Natural State Trailblazers is the evolution of the former Ambassadors program. It’s now a paid, curated creator program with exclusive experiences and high-quality content opportunities. Previous Ambassadors are welcome to apply, but all participants must submit a new application.
Can I apply if I’m not an Arkansas resident?
No, the Natural State Trailblazers program is only open to Arkansas residents. However, out-of-state creators can be considered for opportunities by completing this form.
What kind of content am I expected to create?
You’ll be asked to create content for Instagram, including photos, Stories, Reels and Carousels. Content may be used across social channels and the website to support seasonal campaigns and promotions that showcase Arkansas travel experiences. You may also be highlighted or featured and asked to share your favorite local tips for travelers.
