Protect Arkansas Plant Life and Arkansas Native Animals

Arkansas plant life is diverse, ranging from both upland and bottomland hardwood and/or pine forests to an abundance of wildflowers and a variety of medicinal plants. A wide array of Arkansas native animals, including game and non-game species--black bear, whitetail deer, bald eagles, migratory waterfowl and hundreds of species of plants, fish and birds of Arkansas--are found statewide. One of the best ways to remember an enjoyable outing is to bring your camera along. Arkansas plant life preservation is important. In the interest of preserving wildlife, please do not disturb plants, rocks or Arkansas native animals. Remember: "Take only pictures and leave only footprints."
