First Day Hike 2022 – Hiking through History
Crowley's Ridge State Park
What to know
The Civilian Conservation Corps built the foundation for Crowley’s Ridge State Park. In less than a 1/2-mile, on the easy, barrier-free Lake Ponder Trail, you’ll discover many of the foundational building blocks created by this groundbreaking crew and learn what our team does today to protect and maintain these historic treasures. All participants will receive a free uniquely designed sticker regardless of whether they participate in the guided hikes or self-report online at https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/first-day-hikes.
Please note that Crowley’s Ridge State Park visitor center is closed on New Year's Day but will remain open on the 31st and the 2nd. #ArStateParks #FirstDayHikes
