Lake Sylvia
What to know
Serene 18-acre lake is noted for its swimming and fishing opportunities, 19 camping units with electricity, eight tent-only sites, 36 picnic sites, two group camping sites; swimming beach, hiking trails. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, the lake contains some readily identifiable rock structures that the Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Project Administration were known for.
