Art Reception + Exhibition: “Glimmer” by Heidi Carlsen-Rogers

The ARTx3 Campus invites the public to a free opening reception for the exhibition “Glimmer” by Heidi Carlsen-Rogers from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St. in Pine Bluff. This exhibition is sponsored by the Kline Family Foundation.

Carlsen-Rodgers’s exhibition provides a backdrop to relax the mind through a set of large-scale floral tapestries using psychologically uplifting and calming colors and subject

matter. This tranquil exhibition uses various sky hues to simulate a soothing passage of time in the garden. Visitors are invited to recall positive memories or "glimmers" and immerse themselves to relieve stress and anxiety and to promote their general well-being.
