Saddleback Lodge is located at the end of the road and offers great views, elite privacy and seclusion on 120 acres of sheer mountain beauty. The lodge is the perfect place for your next Buffalo River vacation. It is secluded one mile off Highway 21 just five minutes from the Historic Community of Boxley Valley. Saddleback Lodge is a beautiful, warm and cozy lodge, tastefully decorated in a casual lodge décor. Upon entering, you will see the tall vaulted ceilings and log accents that create a dramatic first impression. The living room is reminiscent of a classic hunting lodge with its open concept, floor-to-ceiling native stone fireplace and windows that illuminate the home with warmth and sunshine. You will find all the amenities of home in the modern kitchen with a Jenn-Air four-burner gas cooktop with grill and an electric convection oven. Each of the plush bedrooms is specially decorated with a rustic style enhanced upon by the ever-changing scenic views framed in each of the windows. Similar to the rest of the house, the bedrooms are designed to make you feel at home and ensure a restful night’s sleep. Whether it is a relaxing bath in the Jacuzzi tub, cuddling in front of the fireplace, enjoying smores at the open fire pit, a game of horseshoes, or family game night downstairs, there is something for everyone.

Saddleback Lodge is the nature lover’s dream getaway. You may relax on the porch and watch the wildlife or hike to the waterfall that flows in the hollow behind the lodge. Be sure to bring your camera and binoculars as you are sure to encounter the wildlife (deer, turkey, squirrel, and an occasional bear) that roams on the 120 acres. If fishing is your hobby, plan to spend a few hours at the pond out back as it is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie and bream. Don’t forget to bring your fishing poles and bait!
