A Walk in the Park

Explore the Oil Park with a park interpreter, as you uncover some of the untold stories of the 1920s oil boom in south Arkansas. Walk around the park to explore the outside exhibits. Listen to the tales of people who lived through the chaos and excitement of the boom. Learn how at first the boom brought some danger and destruction, but also change and new opportunities to the region. If you have any questions, please contact the museum at (870) 725-2877.
