“Saying Goodbye to Jenny”

You won't believe what happened to 16 year-year-old Jenny Vann in 1860s Washington! Join in the recreation of a nineteenth century "wake" at an antebellum home in Washington. Guests will be immersed in the tradition and ritual of friends and relatives visiting at the home of young Jenny Vann, deceased. You will be there to engage your senses in the sights, sounds, and silent meditation of a bereaved family on the eve of the final "goodbye" to their loved one.
