Camp fun this July!

July is a great time to get outdoors and have some fun! And if the kids learn something while having a great time, that’s just the icing on the cake!

Parkin Archeological State Park in Parkin offers a Youth Day Camp for teenagers 13-16 on July 6-8. Campers will tour Parkin and some other unique parks in the area. Activities include kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking and crafts. The $75 fee includes all meals, admissions, snacks and equipment rental costs. Village Creek State Park in Wynne offers two Outdoor Adventure Day Camp opportunities in July. July 11-13 is for children ages 7-9. The July 25-27 camp is for youngsters 10-13. Each includes a variety of educational and recreational programs designed to get your child outside to discover the wonders of the natural world.
