A Duck, A Tortoise and a Hare: Classic Tales Brought to “Light”
The Fowler Center, located on the campus of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, welcomes the Lightwire Theatre on Feb. 8 and 9 as part of the Family Friendly Concert Series. Lightwire Theatre brings new life to a pair of classic tales: Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling” and Aesop’s fable, “The Tortoise and the Hare.”
Using puppets lined with electroluminescent wire, the well-known characters illuminate the darkened stage and wend their way into audiences’ hearts. Children and adults alike will love Lightwire Theater’s cutting edge blend of puppetry, technology, and dance.
