Family Favorite Festivals Return in June

June is a great time to get out and enjoy the beauty of The Natural State. This month, three festivals, all family-friendly events, return…offering fun activities and live music for everyone!

Des Arc hosts the 30th annual Steamboat Days along the White River on June 4-6. The festival features a carnival, a car show, arts and crafts, food vendors, a dog show, children’s activities, and a barbecue and chili cook-off. Musical entertainment includes performances by Ricochet, Billy Jones Bluez and Kyla Horton. 

It’s the 34th annual Portfest in Newport on June 5-6 at Jacksonport State Park. The festival features live music, carnival rides, children’s activities, arts and crafts, and a variety of food booths. Friday night’s performances include Riverbilly and the Marshall Tucker Band and Saturday offers music from Josh Thompson and Little Texas. 

Downtown Wynne is the site for the 39th annual Farm Fest on June 12-13. The festival features the Delta Smoke barbecue contest, arts and crafts, live music, games and rides for the kids, a tractor show and much more.
