Let’s Play in the Water!
Okay…it’s hot! And there’s nothing better on a hot day than lounging and playing in cool water! This August, head to one of these great spots for some fun in the sun in the water!
In Pine Bluff, check out the new Saracen Landing Splash Park, located at 200 Lake Saracen Dr. The facility is one of the most advanced splash parks in the state, featuring 78 programmable, high-flow jets and LED lighting. The park, open through Labor Day, features changing areas, vending machines and restrooms. For more information, phone 870-536-0920.
The Paragould Community Center and Water Park in Paragould is a great place for kids of all ages. The park features a great variety of slides, fun water features, cooling water “spouts” and a 12-foot diving pool. A spectacular way to cool off during the heat of the summer. The water park is open Monday through Saturday from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 per person. The park is also available to rent for private parties at night. The Paragould Community Center and Water Park is located at 3404 Linwood Dr.
Another option for some summertime fun is Crenshaw Springs Water Park in White Hall. The park features two large flume slides, a lazy river, a toddler splash are and slide, a zero-depth entry area, diving boards and a rock-climbing wall, as well as a restaurant. The facility is open 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission prices are $12 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 4-12, and those 3 and under get in free. A 10-visit pass is available for $75 and family passes are also available. Crenshaw Springs Water Park is located at 9801 Dollarway Rd. in White Hall.
