The “residents” of Mount Holly Cemetery  invite you to visit with them during Tales of the Crypt, which takes place annually the second Tuesday of October. This popular fall tradition features “appearances” by some early Arkansans who are interred at Mount Holly in Little Rock. Students from the Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School drama department portray these interesting personages in full authentic costume. The actors have researched and written monologues based on the lives of Arkansans buried in the cemetery. Two one hour simultaneous candlelight tours are conducted and admission is free.

Mount Holly, one of the most historic spots in the Capital City, is located at 12th and Broadway just off I-630 in downtown Little Rock. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been called the “Westminster Abbey of Arkansas” because of the notables buried there.
