Pine Bluff Arts and Science Center Hosts Tinkerfest Meets Theaterfest

The Arts & Science Center in Pine Bluff hosts Tinkerfest meets Theaterfest on Aug. 1-2. The event is a  two-day festival that brings together makers, artisans, and tinkerers to share skills and ideas and inspire creative engineering. Through hands-on projects and engaging conversations, visitors learn tools and techniques necessary to pursue their own creations. Stations invite visitors to discover “making” using familiar objects in unfamiliar, innovative ways. From building mini robots and soldering circuits to crafting top-hat fascinators and light-up jewelry, Tinkerfest meets Theaterfest will spark everyone’s imagination.  This event is free thanks to the Arkansas Discovery Network which is funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation and local sponsor Central Maloney.
